SILT HOLLOW: The Cobalt Leviathan

The story

On the remote oceanic drilling platform Silt Hollow, an ultra-deep thermal drill inadvertently pierces an ancient subterranean ocean, awakening a massive, armor-plated creature that hunts via high-intensity light and vibration. The monster immediately destabilizes the rig's structural pillars, plunging the lower levels into darkness and rapidly rising seawater. Deaf salvage diver Jax and chief engineer Veda unite with surviving rig workers to escape the flooded sub-decks. Recognizing that the creature is drawn to electrical power and flares, Jax uses visual hand signals and thermal flares to guide the team through pitch-black, submerged corridors while Veda sabotages the rig's main thermal core to set a trap. In the final confrontation within the underwater ballast bay, Jax acts as visual bait in a hard-suit, luring the beast into the engine exhaust path just as Veda overloads the reactor, vaporizing the leviathan and sealing the trench forever as the survivors reach the surface emergency pod.
