BALLOONIA: The Static Heist

The story

In the vibrant air-suspended metropolis of Balloonia, low-rent burglar Barnaby and his silent lizard accomplice attempt to steal the heavy Iron Vault from the City Mint. Because Balloonia is constructed completely out of inflated rubber tubes, helium domes, and squeaky bridge-ropes, weight and sharp objects are lethal hazards. Barnaby sneaks into the mint, successfully hitches the iron safe to a bundle of helium balloons, but accidentally triggers a massive static electricity storm by dragging his feet on the rubber floor. With his hair electrified into a massive sphere and metallic objects flying toward him from all directions, Barnaby engages in a silent, hyper-visual slapstick chase across bouncing plazas and squeaky suspension bridges while fleeing squeaky-armored police officers. Ultimately, Barnaby uses his immense static charge to levitate the safe onto a getaway airship, leaving his pursuers bouncing harmlessly into the clouds.
